Charles Ives, the Lone Wolf, has been collecting used and rare books for close to forty years. He owned and operated a small shop in the Bronx for quite a few years before he, his wife and his entire collection gave up life in the city for a quiet country life.As one would imagine, through the years Charles has accumulated quite a substantial collection of rare and used books that he has treated with exceptional care and devotion. Unfortunately for Charles, his wife was not thrilled with the newly purchased and smaller home in the country doubling as a personal library. She reluctantly joined the information age with the purchase of a computer and Lone Wolf Books was re-born online.
The books listed here are an eclectic collection from the library of Charles Ives. Many are out of print, hard to find, signed and/or first editions. They are more than books to Charles, they are his children that he has cultivated and now it is time to let them go.
You will find the books listed here exactly as advertised. Charles and Jayne are not looking to deceive anyone, least of all someone who recognizes and appreciates a fine book. Exceptional care goes into the packing and shipping of each book, Charles is obsessive in his delivering a quality book and personally wraps each and every order himself. It may take you a minute or two to unwrap your new book but you will never have to worry about shipping disasters!
